Shannon Mahre is a 4 season coach + athlete and owner of Girls with Grit, a women's adventure company that offers ski, mountain bike, stand up paddle board, fly fishing and trail running/endurance clinics, lessons & retreats for women all over the PNW. She also has a women’s clothing line that she had designed to give women the courage, the strength and the spirit to pursue their passions + dreams… and to realize that true grit is within every single one of us. 

Shannon is also a professional photographer, adventure writer , marketing specialist and web designer through her other company, Shannon Mahre Media. Locally, she has a monthly outdoor column in the Yakima Herald and in Yakima Magazine, but she also writes, designs and shoots photos for companies all over the nation. 

As a mother of two young boys that are her constant companions, family always comes first, but as a woman, she is determined to not lose sight of her goals and passions — which is why she has created businesses that evolve around what she loves, and that also allow her to be mom first, business woman second.
